DEAR BUYERS,

Thank you for your interest in 2550 Noella Crescent! This home has been our haven for 27 years and while we are very sad to leave it, it is time for us to start a new chapter.

 

We wanted to take the time to share some of the things we have loved so dearly about this home. Perhaps the most wonderful thing here is the sense of continuity and family it has given us. I (Lorraine) grew up in this neighbourhood, moving here with my parents when I was 11. My parents actually found this house and talked us into moving, but it certainly wasn't a hard sell! We fell in love with this home the moment we walked in the door and have cherished every moment of living here for 27 years. We moved in November 1997 and welcomed our daughter in January 1998, and it was wonderful to see her grow up in the same community that I did.

 

Our home has been a hub for family gatherings, with birthdays and Christmases spent with both my family and Jim's. We could always fit everyone around the dining room table, enjoying after-dinner games in the family/sunroom. Our backyard, fondly called "Puerto Backyarda," has been our personal oasis – no need for vacations when your backyard is so serene!

 

If you're new to the area, you should definitely check out Fireman's Park. It offers tons of community activities such as Music like Twilight Tuesday evenings, an annual carnival in June, Canada Day celebrations, and Easter egg hunts for children. There are also several trails for walking or biking. For shopping, Commissos on Thorold Stone Road is my favorite grocery store. Our go-to spot for a Sunday morning breakfast is Queen's Coach Restaurant on St. Paul Avenue, which is close by.

 

Noella Crescent is a quiet, beautiful, and peaceful street and the sense of community in the neighbourhood is truly something special, with friendly and helpful neighbours all around.
